As promised, here is a dressed up look with my dress from Black Swan Boutique. I wanted to do something a little different for Easter this year. Normally, we all gravitate towards lighter, pretty colors, but I knew with pops of pink, this dress would still look really nice. I am just so happy that this black and white dress looks so good dressed up and toned down.
That really proves that it’s great to invest in pieces that can be changed up for your lifestyle. I talked about that recently in my post about finding your personal style. I already know several other events I can wear this dress to this Spring and Summer. I love that I got to do another shoot with my daughter.
We were on our way to see the Easter Bunny so showcasing her Easter look just seemed like the best thing to do! Her dress is so pretty. I told her if they had it in my size, I would’ve gotten it too! Lol. Twinsies. My daughter is super picky about what she wears; that’s why I let her pick out her own clothes. But if I’m out shopping alone, I know I have to look for aqua or blue colors, and the fabric has to be something soft. This dress has all that and it has an open back which is super trendy. I love that she has developed her own style throughout the years.
When she was born, I was all about the cute tutu outfits, but learned pretty early on that that style wasn’t going to happen. It’s important to me that she always able to express herself through fashion. As long as it’s appropriate, I will always support her choices. I hope y’all liked this Black Swan Boutique Easter look. Which looks did you prefer? Casual or dressed up? I would also love to know what you’re outfit plans are for Easter! XO.
