Recapping My Disney World Trip

RECAPPING MY WALT DISNEY WORLD TRIP TODAY ON TOPKNOT STYLE.

Very excited to be quickly recapping my Walt Disney World trip for y’all. My family and I went to celebrate my 30th birthday and my daughter’s 5th birthday. My sisters, mom, and sister’s fiance all met us down there which really was the best gift I could have gotten. We moved from WI almost 3 years ago, and I miss them so much!

We stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort which was really beautiful. The shuttle from there to all the different parks and Disney Springs wasn’t bad at all. You could get to and from pretty quickly, and they also had a boat shuttle which was really nice. We went to Disney Springs the first night for my birthday dinner and some shopping (I am no longer a Zara virgin!) and the next day was Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom really is magical. There is so much there so it can be a little overwhelming but my daughter was so excited about meeting Ariel, going on the Dumbo ride, all the different shows, and going to her Princess dinner. I 100% recommend doing the character dinner if you are ever there. It was like a little girl’s dream being in the Cinderella castle. Even I was excited about it. Hollywood Studios was way more relaxed than the day before and maybe my favorite day of vacation. Last time we were at Disney, we didn’t do Hollywood Studios so we had to get it in this time around. Again, my daughter loved everything! Meeting Doc McStuffins and seeing the Frozen Sing a Long show were her highlights from the day. Our last day we went to Animal Kingdom and back to Disney Springs for a little while.

My favorite part of the trip was just seeing my daughter’s face light up when she saw a character she loves, but then getting shy when she actually met them! I’ll never forget her jumping up and down when she first saw Ariel. She really loves her. And I must say, every meal I had was amazing. I’m such a foodie and was so happy with everything I ate…which was quite a lot. Those meal plans really are the way to go, FYI!

There’s a little recap of my vacay for y’all. I hope you enjoy the pictures! Let me know any fun Disney stories of your own! XO.
